Messy Church1

We meet for this fresh and different expression of family ‘church’ on the first Monday of the month at 4pm (or second Monday if the first is a Bank holiday) during term times. It’s ‘messy’ in every way. We are not perfect; our families are not perfect, and God is with us in the messiness and disorder of our lives.

Messy Church is an informal all-age ‘church’. We welcome each other and then begin with a prayer and a Bible story followed by singing, gluing, painting, modelling and food preparation, all based around the Bible story. We share a sit-down meal together before taking our creations home to remind us of what we’ve learned about God.

It is a Jesus-centred time of messiness, fun and laughter and we’d love you to come and join us!

Messy Church is now meeting again and there is no longer any requirement to social distance.
